The province located in the southern end of Kalimantan Island is South Kalimantan. This province is separated into three zones, the dense tropical forests, the rivers – the longest is Barito River – and the coastal areas. Many villages lie along the Barito River with the activities supporting their capital investments. The origin citizens are Dayak who lives along the upstream rivers and Banjar who lives along the coast and becoming the majority. The beautiful nature panorama is provided by the Loksado sited in Meratus mountains and Barabai located in Hulu Sungai Tengah regency. People can go for traveling and tracking there. Another famous city is Martapura. It is well known with the diamond manufacturer. |feedvillages.com|
