Central Kalimantan, one of the biggest provinces in Indonesia has a great number of forest, swamps and agriculture land. As located in the equator line, the Central Kalimantan has various flora especially the tropical plants such as ebony and iron wood tree which support the forests.
Because of the number of rivers, the people usually use a motor boat as water transportation. Another attractive site is Orangutan Camp Leakey in Tanjung Putting National Park which also available the endemic proboscis monkey, clouded leopard, tiny tarsier and hundreds of birds species.
