Sumbawa, one of the largest islands in West Nusa Tenggara, located to the east of Lombok. The effects of Buddhist and Hindu culture, still have a great role in the tradition. It has the well known great waves and white sand on the beach, good for swimming and bathing.
The famous horse is kuda Sumbawa, a livestock lived here and becoming the source of the capital investment for the citizen. The government gives a serious concern on the conservation of the natural resources, agrarian landscape and regional agriculture.
